Jul 22, 2021 · For f1, you continue with the same gear, but swapping out dragon armor for a zombie soldier chestplate or zombie knight chestplate for better ehp and defense. Again, Berserk is the best for Entrance to f3. Mage would use 2/4 wise dragon armor, zombie soldier chestplate, and a bonzo mask (if f1 completion) Honestly, mage isn't great in f7 (especially as cata 30) w/o hyperion. I played bers until about cata 32 then switched to mage when I could afford a hyperion. Not really a bad use of money if you wanna do f7. It's by far the cheapest viable weapon/setup there. Spending a few mil on carries won't do you much harm in the long run. Also, if the alternative is going mage you're probably gonna need a hype/other wither blade.

The whole point of mage is to clear rooms fast, and spirit sceptre Nons will clear a room 10x slower than a hype mage. They also do 10x less average damage.
